Garden Timer ("we," "our," or "the app") is a focus timer application for iOS developed by an independent developer. We believe your privacy is a fundamental right. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — written in plain language, not legalese.

Garden Timer offers optional premium features ("Garden Pro") through Apple's in-app purchase system (StoreKit 2). All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We receive only a confirmation of your purchase status — we never see your payment method, credit card number, or Apple ID credentials.

We do not share any of your focus session data, garden progress, or personal information with advertisers. Garden Pro subscribers enjoy a completely ad-free experience.
If you prefer not to receive personalized ads, you can limit ad tracking in your device settings: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → Personalized Ads → Off.

Garden Timer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). The app does not require account creation or collect identifying information from any user. If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly address the concern.
Since your focus data is stored only on your device, you have full control at all times. To delete all Garden Timer data, simply delete the app from your device. All session history, garden progress, and preferences will be permanently removed.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, and port your personal data. Since we store data locally on your device and do not maintain user accounts or external databases, these rights are inherently satisfied — you control your data entirely.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act, you have the right to know what data is collected, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Your data remains on your device.

Your focus session data is stored in Apple's SwiftData framework on your device, protected by your device's built-in security (including device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID). Purchase verification uses Apple's encrypted StoreKit APIs. We do not operate external servers or databases that store your information.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Effective" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the app. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
